Like High Tea and the royal family; Patrón Tequila is properly iconic. But even icons need to be shaken up sometimes. Perfection-obsessed bartenders from all across the UK have been experimenting and expanding on classics (and not-so-classics) to make thoroughly modern drinks.
From the Scottish Highlands to beaches of Brighton, the UK knows how to mix up a drink worth serving and Patrón is bringing a little bit of Jalisco to Old Blighty with the next leg of the 2016 search for Patrón Perfectionists. The final UK bartenders from the preliminary competitions will come together at the Lucky Pig in London on November 16th to fight for the title.
The bartender deemed the UK Perfectionist (along with their recipe) will meet with their fellow Perfectionists from Mexico, Australia, UAE, France, Spain and Italy at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico to vie worldwide fame served straight up. The UK winner will have their perfect drink featured as a limited-edition serve at the bar they call home that you can go out and taste perfection.
