There’s No Siesta for These Perfectionist Hopefuls

Everyone is swooning at the bar because cocktails are the new language of love in Spain. Beautifully crafted drinks have taken off in the land known for creative spirits, big colors, and elevated flavors. As such, mixologists from Barcelona to Madrid have been on the move building an out-of-this-world cocktail culture.

The best bartenders throughout Spain have been turning beautiful ingredients into big flavors through shaking, stirring and maybe even a Paso Doble. In this spirit, Patrón is giving these talented mixologists the chance to put their spin on the perfect drink in the 2016 Patrón Perfectionists Competition. Coming to the 2016 FIBAR in Valladolid on November 17th, five bartenders will compete for a final time to see who will come out on top.

The Spain Perfectionist and their recipe will go head to head with the Perfectionists from the UK, Mexico, Australia, UAE, France and Italy at Hacienda Patrón in Jalisco, Mexico to compete for their chance at tequila-infused glory. The Spanish winner will also have their drink featured as a limited-edition serve at their bar so that you can actually go taste perfection.

So wave the cape, the search for the Spanish Perfectionist is about to take off!
