How Sherry Old-Fashioned
A sherry nice twist on the classic añejo old-fashioned.
Recipe Ingredients
| 2 oz | Patrón Sherry Cask Aged Añejo |
| 0.25 oz | PX sherry |
| + | 2 bar spoons demerara syrup |
| + | 2 dashes walnut bitters |
| + | Orange peel, for garnish |
| 60 ml | Patrón Sherry Cask Aged Añejo |
| 7.5 ml | PX sherry |
| + | 2 bar spoons demerara syrup |
| + | 2 dashes walnut bitters |
| + | Orange peel, for garnish |
Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.
How to Make
- Combine all liquid ingredients in a mixing glass with ice and stir to chill.
- Strain over an ice sphere in a rocks glass.
- Express the oils of the orange peel onto the surface of the drink, and use the peel to garnish.
