PATRÓN Extra Añejo is an extraordinary ultra-premium barrel-aged tequila, distilled from the very best 100% Weber Blue Agave and aged in a combination of new and used American, French and Hungarian oak barrels for a minimum of three years. Full-bodied, unique and delightfully complex, it strikes the perfect balance between light agave, rich spiced notes and subtle hints of vanilla.

Our Process
THERE’S NOTHING EXTRA ABOUT PERFECTION
Every step in crafting PATRÓN Extra Añejo is meticulously considered to ensure exceptional quality. We begin by carefully selecting mature Weber Blue Agave plants harvested at peak ripeness. After cooking in traditional stone ovens, the agave is crushed using a roller mill and Tahona stone to extract its sweet juices, which ferment naturally for several days. The fermented juices are distilled in copper pots in small batches before we begin the aging process.
PATRÓN Extra Añejo is aged gracefully for a minimum of three years in a combination of new and used American, French and Hungarian charred oak barrels. This extended aging imbues our tequila with a deep complexity, enriching it with notes of vanilla, caramel, and a subtle smokiness.
Every bottle of PATRÓN Extra Añejo represents the culmination of artisanal skill and dedication required to produce a truly exceptional spirit.
