Recipe Ingredients

Servings 1
1.5 oz Gran Patrón Piedra
.25 oz St-Germain Elderflower Liqueur
.25 oz Rustic syrup*
1 Strawberry
1 Coffee bean
1 Lemon twist

Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.

How to Make

  1. Combine St. Germain and rustic syrup* in a old fashioned glass with ice.
  2. Separately, serve Gran Patrón Piedra in a short-stemmed glass.
  3. Add strawberry, coffee bean and lemon twist.
  4. Heat the glass to make a little flame and cook all ingredients, drop the mixture into flame on the glass with ice and St. Germain.

*Rustic syrup:
Combine 1 cup of sugar and 1 cup of water in a saucepan and bring to a simmer, stirring until combined. While the syrup is still warm, add 1 lemon twist, 1 vanilla stick, 1 star anise, 1 small piece of cinnamon, leave to infuse for 3 hours. Strain out solids and store syrup in the refrigerator up to two weeks.
