Environmentally-minded music fans will head to Summer Meltdown 2019 for four days of music at the ultimate no-waste-left-behind festival in the Pacific Northwest. The Simply Perfect Summer Tour will bring alternatives for plastic cups, while serving up the O.P.P. (Our Prickly Paloma), a cocktail made with prickly pear purée and Patrón Reposado. This Mexican-inspired sipper is perfect for a warm day spent in the great outdoors with the refreshing blast of grapefruit and lime juice, while a pinch of salt balances out the sweetness of sugar cane syrup.
O.P.P
- 1.5 oz Patrón Reposado
- .75 oz Prickly pear purée
- .5 oz Lime juice
- .25 oz Cane syrup
- + Pinch of salt
- + Top with grapefruit soda
- + Grapefruit slice
- Shake all ingredients in a shaker with ice except the grapefruit soda.
- Strain into rocks glass over ice.
- Top with grapefruit soda.
- Garnish with a grapefruit slice.
