Recipe Ingredients

Servings 1
1.5 oz Patrón Silver
.75 oz Mustard seed syrup*
.333 oz Umenoyado Yuzu Shu Sake
.25 oz Fresh lemon juice
2 Barspoons lemon vinegar
+ Garnish with mustard seed sea salt**

Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.

How to Make

  1. Combine all ingredients in a mixing tin with ice and shake to chill.
  2. Double strain into a coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with mustard seed sea salt** and fancy lemon peel expressed, trimmed and rested on rim of glass.

*Mustard Seed Syrup:
Mix 2 parts warm water to 1 part honey. Put in blender with 1 teaspoon freshly ground brown mustard seed (finely ground in a spice blender) and 1/4 teaspoon Morton's Mediterranean Fine Sea Salt. Blend thoroughly and then fine strain.

**Mustard Seed Sea Salt:
Mix 3 parts freshly ground brown mustard seed to 1 part Morton's Mediterranean Fine Sea Salt.
