Exotic Flavors and a Flashy London Cocktail Week Friday
The perfect week of cocktails is gaining a savory addition with Friday’s Patrón recipe.
Sep. 28, 2017
Friday at London Cocktail Week is coming in hot with bold, savory flavors straight from the Patrón bar. From bartender Nico de Soto, a native Parisian and not-so-new New Yorker, Curry Leaves will be making its presence with exotic ingredients in tow. Coconut fat-washed Patrón Reposado brings light flavor and body while pairing perfectly with Pandan-infused herbal Cynar, creating the ideal bittersweet base for the cocktail. Bitter yet floral Antica formula is a rare red vermouth that meshes with the cocktail’s namesake, curry leaves bitters, to build depth and create a sublimely interesting drink. Inspired by Nico’s travels abroad, these rare flavors all come together to create a layering of complex flavors that will have you yearning to hop on a plane to half way around the world.
Stop by the Patrón bar today at London Cocktail Week to end the week on a high note with a glass full of enchanting flavor. Cheers!
