2015: Patrón Smoked Sea Salt Margarita
The Patrón Smoked Sea Salt Margarita brings a dash of heat and deep notes to an otherwise classic mix. Paprika dusted over the top and a smoked salt rim give the cocktail intrigue in every sip and perfectly complements the addition of pineapple juice in the drink itself. From the inventive bartender, Brian Dressel of Austin, TX, the Patrón Smoked Sea Salt Margarita makes for a perfect drink at any point in your night out, whether a smoky prelude to hitting the town or a sultry yet bright nightcap.
2016: Rosa Picante Margarita
The Rosa Picante Margarita brought together floral flavors and a touch of heat to make a perfectly balanced and gorgeous drink. Made by Jordan Corney of San Antonio, TX, the Rosa Picante Margarita is an exciting twist on the classic drink through infusing jalapeño oil and ginger syrup into the standard ingredients. A rose sea salt rim lightens up the usual garnish with a lovely scent and floral taste that pulls the entire drink into a new world of margarita interest.
