Patrón Atole Stole Rome’s Heart
Meet Italy’s own winning Patrón Perfectionist, and the cocktail that catapulted him into the spotlight.
Dec. 5, 2016
Cocktail mixing is an art, and no one knows this better than Italy’s 2016 Patrón Perfectionist, Nicola Ruggeiro from Katyusha People & Drinks. Using his art background, Nicola brought together old cultures with fresh flavors in his beautiful winning drink, the Patrón Atole. Using the traditional flavors of corn, chocolate and cinnamon in a classic Atole, Nicola put a flourish and a spirit-forward twist on it with the use of Patrón Silver and notes of lime and concentrated cinnamon. Even though this drink is served over ice, it is sure to warm you up sip by sip. Congratulations, Nicola!
