If you like Pina Coladas, then your summer just got a whole lot sweeter. Many people ask “Can you make a Pina Colada with tequila?”. The answer is of course you can! Tequila is a versatile spirit, perfect for crafting a variety of drinks. Specifically, Patrón Tequila offers a variety of tequilas, from silver to aged to luxurious.
Patrón’s spin on the classic tropical drink incorporates the same crisp, fruity flavors, including Puerto Rican coconut milk Coco Lopez, making it the perfect cocktail to sip on the beach—or in the concrete jungle, for that matter, while daydreaming about your next vacation.
Patrón Colada
- 2 oz Patrón Silver
- 2 oz Coco Lopez
- 2 oz pineapple juice
- .5 oz fresh lime juice
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake for 10 seconds and strain into a zombie glass packed with crushed ice. Garnish with a wedge of pineapple and a cherry.
