Nathalie Durrieu took her inspiration for The Overseas Milky Punch from her travels to the French Dominican Republic where Central American influence took hold. Nathalie brought bright warming spices to the different layers of the drink, melding the Horchata and liqueur together through the spice syrup, and brought out the tequila flavors in Patrón Reposado with the addition of Mezcal.
