To fully appreciate the amazing notes of rich vanilla and black pepper in Patrón Añejo in a cocktail I incorporated black pepper and vanilla alongside complementary flavors of cardamom and grapefruit. South Africa produces the most juicy and bright ruby grapefruits, making it the perfect ingredient to add sweetness and a taste of home to this refreshing cocktail. Named for the Patrón bee, The Colmena is a buzzing beehive of bright flavors.
