How to Rim a Glass
Rimming a glass adds an extra layer of flavor to your drink. Rim your cocktail like a pro with these quick and easy steps.
- Cut a lime in half.
- Using one half of the lime, rub the juice on the outside edge of a glass making sure not to get any inside—or it will change the flavor of your cocktail.
- Evenly spread salt, sugar or other ingredients to rim the glass within a shallow dish.
- Gently roll all or part of the edge of the glass in the ingredients to cover it evenly.
- Shake the glass to get any excess garnish off.
- Fill with your cocktail and enjoy!
