1 oz Patrón Silver
.5 oz BACARDÍ Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron
.75 oz Simple syrup
.75 oz Lime juice
.5 Egg white
2 Mint sprigs
8 Drops smoked salt bitters or salt tincture
+ Mint & lime zest for garnish
30 ml Patrón Silver
15 ml BACARDÍ Gran Reserva Maestro de Ron
22.5 ml Simple syrup
22.5 ml Lime juice
.5 Egg white
2 Mint sprigs
8 Drops smoked salt bitters or salt tincture
+ Mint & lime zest for garnish

Unless noted, drinks should be made one at a time.

How to Make

  1. Muddle one sprig of mint with simple syrup in the bottom of a mixing glass.
  2. Add spirits, lime juice and egg white.
  3. Dry shake (without ice) 10 seconds.
  4. Add ice and shake vigorously to chill and emulsify.
  5. Strain into a chilled cocktail coupe.
  6. Garnish with the expressed oil of a lime zest, then discard the zest.
  7. Drop 8 drops smoked salt bitters (or salt tincture) on the surface of the drink.
  8. Garnish with remaining mint sprig.
